26th May 2007 - This is another phone I got to play with. The guy I sit with, whom I have a laugh now and again with, in regards to leaving for the day within the first 30mins of working, let my play with this Samsung BlackJack PDA phone.

I'm not a big fan of PDA phones, since you're always connected. I have heard shocking stories about BlackBerries and such, so this wouldn't be any different. Though overall, if you're into PDA's this is not such a bad outing.

It has all the normal functions of a phone, and a PDA, including emails and calendar functions, etc. And the screen is quite ample for viewing. The menu system is standard fare, and pretty easy to use. Those are the good points...

My biggest gripe with this phone, is that the buttons are too small. I've got normal sized hands, I like to think, and so are my fingers, but every time I try to sms, I manage to hit the next button over. Or even exit, since the cancel button is so close to the rocker. Everything is too close. I suppose that's the price you pay for compactness. The QWERTY keyboard, and numeric pad is a bit awkward, but after all while I assume you would get used to it.
