One of my contacts does these for the Dictionary of Image group and I though I would give one a try.

Texture by grungetv

Strobist:At first I tried to use just a bare bulb flash but the hotspots were too bright. To diffuse them a bit I taped two sheets of paper together and arched it over the berries. I fired a 580ex at 1/2 power from left and above the berry and a 430ex at 1/8 right and above the berry. Add texture and desaturated the raspberries in the background in photoshop but the blackberry is pretty much untouched.
