I didn't bring my Nokia charger home with my over Christmas, since there's always an old Nokia charger kicking around somewhere and with the handy small adapter-piece shipped with the N80 I could just use that.

In theory this is a good idea.

I found myself stuck in Denmark for 10 days without a charger since the charger my parents had was too old (one of those boxy-bulky ones, not the longer thin ones) - sure it had the right plug, but my N80 would say "Not Charging" when I plugged it in (so it DID recognise it!).

I ended up using my brothers 6600 to charge with - and the small power-adapter-bit found it's use too ... it's used to squeeze the N80 battery in place into the 6600.

This setup worked just fine! cumbersome, but fine.
