This was my first bike I built from the ground up in 2006. It was a fun project particularly because I had taken a 15 years hiatus from cycling, and coming back to build a bike that reminisce where I had left off was sweet.
Noticed the downtube shifters and platform pedals with clip and strap :). Yeah I wanted it old skool; cuz that's how I remembered cycling back in the late 80's.

This was a limited edition frameset produced in celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Eddy Merckx brand. The Motorola Cycling Team color scheme was used for this special edition. Only 100 frameset were made because Eddy had just enough Columbus MXL tubings to make 100 framesets. This particular frame was #82/100
